Anne-Marie Duff is a Britsih actress born on the 8th of October 1970 in Chiswick, London, United Kingdom. Anne-Marie Duff (born 8 October 1970) is an English stage and screen actress. Her debut role in the screen in the screen was Fiona Gallagher from the UK series Shameless the first two seasons. The Virgin Queen (2006) followed, with her playing the title role, Queen Elizabeth. From Darkness, a television show From Darkness (2013) also featured the role of the lead character. Duff has had roles in movies such as Enigma (2001) The Magdalene Sisters Notes from a Scandal (2006) French Film (2008) The Last Station and Nowhere Boy Before I Go to Sleep (2014) and Suffragette (2015). She was nominated for BAFTA awards for Best Actress, Best Supporting Actress and Best Actress in Shameless The Virgin Queen. In addition to this she won the BAFTA Cymru Award in Best Actress in 2007 for her performance in the television film The History of Mr Polly.
